A interactive map found on Forbes.com is an example of making raw data so engaging that it’s hard to stop playing around with the graphic. Data on every county in America is accessible. Now you can find out just how many people are moving to and from the county in which you live or have lived and where everyone is going to or arriving from. Now we know why traffic in Austin is such a hassle.

One can never have enough books. Though we’re all admonished not to judge a book by it’s cover, it’s a hard truth that well designed cover artwork helps a book stand out and register in our memory. Check out some iconic book covers from an online rare book room and see which ones you recall either reading or remember having seen on a library shelf from years gone by.
